Giving Back

Dropkick Soccer is on a mission to bring people together and to strengthen the soccer community.  We do this by giving back to the youth soccer community that gives so much hope and direction to people everywhere. This is the focus of our Keep Kicking Program.

We donate 10% of every sale back to the soccer community through our Keep Kicking Program.

Luke Grothe is the founder of Dropkick Soccer and a life-long soccer fanatic. Growing up with frequent moves due to his Father's distinguished 32-year Military career, Luke began playing soccer in Germany with SSV Vogelstang near Mannheim, Germany, and later had the opportunity to play in youth competition across the country with some top coaches and clubs, including:

Norman Celtic - Norman, Oklahoma - Jane Remy

Metro FC - Edwardsville, IL - Dale Schilly, Dave Fernandez

Austin Longhorns - Austin, TX - Vic Pace

Lonestar Soccer Club - Austin, TX - Sean Bubb

Harker Heights HS, Harker Heights, TX - Jeremy Key

Luke went on to play Division I college soccer in North Carolina before finishing a Finance degree from Texas State University. After years in corporate management and sales, Luke returned to soccer through the startup semi-pro league, the UPSL. He helped start a team and would captain the team during their first year before coaching the team for two more seasons. He then coached at different levels including North Texas Olympic Development Program, and as an Assistant Coach at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.

The game of soccer and the community that surrounds it, bring so much hope, direction, challenge, and joy to people all over the world. This impact is why we give back to the soccer community by supporting local youth players, coaches, clubs, and competitions through donation.
